Ok, so this meme is, like, so a month ago. But, whatever, David tagged me and I felt I should follow through!

1. I was a pretty good student until college. I barely managed to graduate from college. I blame being able to basically coast through high school and still graduate with honors for my lack of preparation for what college would entail.

2. If I could retire today, it would be to play golf for the rest of my life.

3. I have a soft spot in my heart for movie musicals from the 1950s.

4. As much as I'd love to, I can't play survival horror video games for more than 30 minutes at a stretch because I get too freaked out!

5. I have over one year's worth of The New Yorker magazines stockpiled because I can't read them fast enough and I refuse to read them out of chronological order.

6. The basis of my views on racial politics in America were heavily influenced by NWA's "Straight Outta Compton", Public Enemy's "It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back", and Paris's "The Devil Made Me Do It".

7. I refuse to dance.

8. I have never karaoke'd.

9. My diet in high school consisted primarily of frozen burritos, frozen pizzas, and cornish game hens.

10. I didn't appreciate the awesomeness of Korean food until I was well into college.

11. I had long hair throughout my early- to mid-20s.

12. I didn't get my ear pierced until I was 21 because I didn't want to upset my mom.

13. I've been trying in fits and spurts to learn Korean on my own. My parents were right that I'd regret losing my ability to speak Korean. I have made absolutely zero progress.

14. I am incapable of incorporating the "orange button" into my life. I've completely psyched myself out now.

15. I am a terrible pack-rat.

16. I learned to drive a manual transmission AFTER I leased my VW Jetta (my first car) in 1995.

17. Luck has played a greater role in the trajectory of my career than anything else.

18. I've been getting the odd grey hair here and there since my early twenties.

19. Yes, I do play disc golf.

20. For a good three years or so, I ate Chipotle for lunch at least three times per week. And, always the same burrito made the same way.

21. I go through phases where I get obsessed with certain foods (see #20).

22. My video game collection is a testament to the severity of my video gaming ADD.

23. I used to record "Police Squad" on to cassette tapes to listen to after the shows had aired as a kid.

24. My favorites shows when I was in grade school were Benny Hill, Monty Pythons Flying Circus, and Dukes of Hazzard.

25. I've never made more than 5 pages into Pynchon's "Gravity's Rainbow".
